Avent Milk Powder Dispenser

Well how times change! When I had my first child we were told to make up all the formula bottles for the day and store in a fridge. When I had my second little one they told me I had to make them up as I go along!! What? How does any one manage to sterilise, boil and cool water then add powder as they go? especially when out of the house... surely that is only possible if you never go out!

Then I noticed one day a friend with a little blue pot. It had a flip top spout and dividers in it. GENIUS I thought!

Now all I do is sterilise all the bottles, pour in the boiled water to cool and leave them on the side in the kitchen. When at home I just scoop when needed. When I'm off out I put the bottles and my powder dispenser in my bag and add it when I need it. It has 3 sections so you just add the amount of scoops for each feed in each section and twist the lid for the nest full feed.

This will work especially well if your little one will drink milk at room temperature... no fridge or microwave... i mean jug of hot water, needed.

It is a bit pricey at £5 for a simple pot, but I think it is well worth it and very liberating for days at the park etc
